It's a 10 dollar guided visit (5 dollars if you're a student). If you like Johnny's music you'll love the tour. It's a rather short tour but it's worth it. You'll be in and out in about a half an hour. There are no words to describe the feeling you get when you step inside the house.
Quite unknown lace to visit, you will just see a sign on the road in arkansas and if you like Johnny Cash, you'll make the detour. The place is small and quickly visited. Not a must see but as I like Johnny Cash, I came here ! :)
very interesting learning about one of the "New Deal" plans. We enjoyed our visit! The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. If in this part of Arkansas I recommend a trip here to see this
A great place to visit and extremely educational, not only in regards to JR Cash and family, but also FDR and the New Deal. Worth far more than the $10 admission fee, this tour is a great experience! Our tour guide, Larry Sims, was formerly the mayor in Dyess and grew up just down the road from JR can give a lot of great background information that most tours can't offer!
ATTENTION : The place has been renewed and improved so don't trust what you'll see on google maps.
It was wonderful seeing what people in that time were given for their hard work
